Practice saying place names in Shanghaiese. How to change tones when speaking Shanghainese (Shanghai dialect of Wu language). This guide shows you an easier way to remember tone changes through actual speaking practice.
You're really admirable. Shanghainese is very difficult to master and you did a very good job. Thumbs up!!! I guess maybe because you are good at music, it gets much easier for you to learn different languages. Anyway, I shall learn from you. (P.S. I'm Shanghainese myself.)
I admire Mike's effort, but he has totally butchered Shanghainese! Shanghainese is more complicated phonetically. Most native Chinese from north failed to master it. Focus on your Mandarin! Forget about Shanghainese.
