This video shows the Asphalt Surfer in action. I created this longboard 9 years ago. In 2009, I added the powerfull electric motor. Top speed is about 35 km/h. The ABS braking system is great, and lets you a lot more freedom (no need to think about how to stop while riding at top speed ;).

Have a look at the addons and the Snow test ;)

  • Batteries last for about 10km.

  • wow how much that cost????

  • 320 euros for the mecanical and electrical stuff. I made the board so no real cost there ;). Speedometer is an old one that can handle very small wheels.

  • how did you make the speedometer work

  • I used an old one, because new models can only work with large wheels (bikes). This one can handle very small wheels. The sensor is attached to the truck, while the magnet is glued to the wheel (on the metal part, inside).

  • How do you figure out your speed??

  • with the speedometer ;)

  • new extreme sport.. electric skateboard drifting.. >,.,> just sayin.. i would pay to see it.

  • All the electric stuff and trucks are from EvoSkate, who imports parts to France. The board, lights, speedometer attachment etc... are homemade.

  • whered u get the kit. it looks like a kit or did u make the whole thing?
