This is a performance of "Elijah Rock" by the Munro College Gospel Choir (MCGC)at JCDC Music Festival 2008. We received gold medals for all our pieces by the grace of GOD. All other Jamaican choirs, prepare to see us at the National Finals. Don't expect to see this same version because MCGC always modifies and improves its songs for each round. The guy directing is our splendid pianist, Dave Blackwood.

  • Munro College is so good. They really harness the maximum of a male voice. BEST ALL-BOYS' CHOIR IN JAMAICA AND BEST CHOIR IN JAMAICA. Who dares to contest the truth?

  • Gays

  • @Ramhing At least the CCBC, that is, the only CCBC there is, gives quality and not quantity. If I might say though your "wonderful" choir as you put it, could barely come close to walking ahead, beside or in CCBC's shoes. Simply put, that was an intentional disrespect to the song's creator. Dear! Dear! Dear! Whatever shall they do? Huh, I laugh at this thought.

  • @cedeagle1 Well by making the comments u made u "stooped"...#jussaying....In addition I was not arguing; that would be an utter waste of my time since u r new and all these tings. Secondly, in the art of subtle bitching u need to make sure that u have proper grammar...its just a thing...learn that. Veterans from ur choir definitely know that. Also just to highlight, u made more errors like..."The rounds was terrible"..that requires simple subject verb agreement...#Dobetter...thats indeed #sad

  • @cedeagle1 It is not futile to argue over versatility because CCBC can't do anything apart from spiritual. If that is versatility then u need to teach me the definition of the word. Sorry Munro can be only be seen as weak in the spiritual category hence a vast amount of versatility. I don't know what they teach u that versatility means but I think we have quite different ideas and I know I'm not incorrect. Further more, that was our first time entering spiritual hence the quality. #JUSTHAVEASEAT

  • @cedeagle1 Young child that is just coming into the music biz, I ask that u have a seat and just remember that your just making your appearance into the business. Sorry to say but at my skool that minute grammatical error would be regarded as something huge. I'm sorry that our standards r quite different. Secondly I should say that the "OLD" CCBC mastered spiritual not the new one that decimated the second to last piece u guys did. I don't even remember its name. The old choir would never do that

  • @Ramhing Both choirs have its strengths and weaknesses, hence it is futile arguing over versatility. It is tempting to say though... at least CCBC has mastered a genre of music. #justsaying Peace out!

  • @Ramhing The aim of my comments was never to disrespect or degrade the choir. Therefore, you are only embarrassing yourself by going on the offensive and attempting to insult my intelligence with a minor and common mistake. Apparently, it would be pointless arguing with you - I refuse to stoop.
