Me and my friend are in the 82nd ranger division and he love youtubing. he also love to listen to music so his mom sent him a laptop and we saw this video and the movie the gaurdian. I still respect the US coast gaurd because their job is sadder than mine because they cant save them all they sometimes have to say no, i dont. im out here in iraq and it just sad to. @dack329 I don't know, I'm not in the USCG, hope to be soon though, but I would imagine it would be much harder to be half way around the world getting shot at and then come home and have protesters accusing you of war crimes. Either way, service members are all extremely important to this country and their jobs and conditions are very hard to work in. Takes true and brave heroes to do what people like you do.

Very good video. The USCG is the real unsung hero of the Armed Forces. Alot of people dont understand what exactly the USCG does becasue all they hear about is the Army, Navy and the Marines in Afganistan and Iraq. USCG save lives and should be reconigzed more. Thanks for the Video!

these guys cannot be explained with words there like god with engines there always there for you in any condition they risk their life for yours becuase thats their job and thats what their trained to do. Hoo Rah

for years ago when i graduated high school i want to join the US Navy but my parents wouldn't let me. I have a burning desire to help others no matter what the cost is. I am not 22yrs old still in my second year in college majoring in Entrepreneurship and possibly MIS(Management Info Systems) and i feel like my life is slipping by and i have not accomplished anything. I have an extremely high level of respect for Coast Guard and I am seriously considering joining!!! just not sure what to do :(
