A traditional country tune collected by Cecil Sharp at Winster in Derbyshire (UK) in 1911. Popular at this speed in session, but probably played a lot slower for dancing. It's traditionally played in G, but I've capo'ed it on the 5th fret to play it in C - just makes it a little lighter and less plodding. This is a good number to start fingerpicking on. Bass notes are played with the thumb - 1st & 2nd fingers can do the rest...
