how important is it that you have a rotateable CPL ring? i accidently got a CPL UV filter ring that is very difficult to remove the glass, and i don't think it rotates... can i skip that part?

@ereksat - well, rotational ring is quite important as you can align the viewport (frame) once the lens is fixed. However if you calculate the exact position of the lens and frame you might skip this step (however in my opinion its very difficult to achieve 100% straight alignment ) ;) Cheers
