@CheekyMarmalade You need to educate yourself. UFOs have been seen for centuries, millennia even. Alexander the Great's hsitorians tell of crafts looking like silver shields, diving from the sky and scaring the war elephants and the army. Silver shields were also seen by romans. In the middle ages monks recorded many incidents of flying ships. Egyptian Pharaoh Thutmose III,1504-1450 B.C.: Egyptian papyrus described a fleet of flying crafts darting through the sky. etc etc..

@Nannaroo17 Personally I think hat all species reach a point where they either destroy their planet and wipe theirselves out because of greed and warmongering, or they heal their world, learn to live together and evolve.I have a problem seeing how an intelligent, violent & greedy species will survive long enough to become a superior race. I might be wrong, but it sounds logical to me =)

@MsElise2009 I agree with you about the "extra dimensional" theory. At school we were told about 3 dimensions. But now we know there are at least 4, but could be more that we cannot understand yet. I think some of the aliens are visiting us out of curiosity -exactly as we would do if we would have the technology available-, but some others could be looking for another planet to move to after they damaged beyond repair their own and made it inhabitable -just like we are doing-. :/

@Nannaroo17 I never said I believe all aliens are from the same planet, I think there are many species out there. I also think some we see may not be from outer space, but from a different dimension (some speculate that some of them may be time travellers, who knows?) I know what Hawking said. I think he makes a mistake when comparing them to us. They are far more advanced than us. If they are warmongers, they probably wouldn't have survived long enough to become this advanced.
