  • once again this disgraceful caller, moonlight cloud is practically past the post before he even mentions her, to be honest this fella is not fit to be calling donkey rides on the beach at weston.... please, please get someone else to call the french racing in english

  • shame for dream ahead, this has got to be his only bad performance.... you can forgive the dewhurst( too soon after the middle park, should have had his feet up for the winter) and st james palace ( too far at that time of his development), but otherwise what a lovely horse... him and excelebration suffer from being around at the same time as frankel....

  • 3/1 is a huge price for her on Saturday... Easily the best sprinting performance of the season in my book.

  • I was hopeful that Freddie Head would leave Moonlight Cloud in the G1 Matron Stakes field coming up at Leopardstown. But it looks like Head has decided to shun the Matron Stakes in favor of the Prix De l' Abbaye with Moonlight Cloud. But if Moonlight Cloud is capable of winning the Prix Maurice De Gheest, she should also be capable of really big run in the Abbaye as well, IMO.

  • For a horse that had just won the G1 July Cup, and that's always thrived on soft ground during his career, Dream Ahead was very disappointing in this race. As was Zoffany. I don't believe Zoffany should have even been in this field. As a mile seems to suite him much better than sprint distances do. And for a horse that had an unbeaten, 5 for 5 juvenile season in 2010. Wootton Bassett hasn't come anywhere close to winning even one race so far in 2011 as a 3yr.old.
