@ ChefMimsy your statement itself shows that you may need this workshop. It more than the need for all ethnicity to be together in this activity. It more the experience of acceptance due to the hue of the human. This students can walk away and use this knowledge towards all. Regardless of the hues that where in the room.
Perhaps their school is like the one I went to. The town did not have an African American population (literally none) or many other cultures. We had caucasian and Hispanic people, nothing else. Just because those students don't attend that school does not mean that these kids can't learn from this experience.
That's quite an Aryan group they've got there. You'd think they could have found a token American of African descent. Really, if you're gonna talk the talk, then ya gotta walk the walk, otherwise it's just mindless chatter. yeah, there were a lot of people not represented there. The lack of African Americans in the group was most blatant.
Very powerful in a sneaky way...when the kids put their arms out...this dude started crying! And I loved it. Keep it up, Hue-Mans! Keep spreading the Love!

Wow! Made me feel like crying... to recognize the powerful truth that these kids are experiencing... how we're all connected on the inside.
