  • do you have to take the pcm out of the old dodge and put it into the ford? Or what do you do about the computer stuff?

  • @thomasmartin1992 nope, just leave it in the dodge...you dont have too touch any wiring in the ford if your using the 12 valve..all you gotta do is custom wire your dodge alternator up too your ford wiring harness and everything will work 100% as the day it came out of the factory

  • how much did this all cost to complete?

  • @FlyinRaptorJesus so far a 1000k for the truck, and 1800 in parts lol, very inexpensive

  • great project, but how did you wire up the starter and fuel shutoff?

  • @SuperDutyCummins Want some diesel with that oil?

    Hope you enjoy the 6bt.

  • @mitsumivec4life i agree, i blew the o/d in that nv twice with no loads lol

  • @SuperDutyCummins better to have the ZF-5 in it than the NV4500.

  • @mitsumivec4life gonna be using the zf-5 spd, and ya that motor has seen better days, the rear motor seal was blown and leaked oil into the bellhousing, that explained why i had too add 3-4 ltrs of oil ever 50 miles lol

  • Hate to say this, but the 7.3 IDI has seen better days....so glad a Cummins swap will be in that Ford truck! What transmission do you have in mind for this truck?
