Paul Ash - Irish Innkeeper

My role as the sleazy Irish innkeeper, who gains customers by hook and by crook, in the Portara Pictures film "Little Claus & Big Claus". Filmed in a pituresque Acadian Village in southern Nova Scotia, it is the tale of Little Claus who at every turn seems confronted by bullies and con men - to whom he seems to deliver a poetic Justice.

This scene is as Little Claus comes across the innkeeper, on his way to a larger town to properly bury his mother (who was behead post mortem by Big Claus the town bully, who thought he was killing Little Claus). The innkeeper has appeared dead, so he could be 'save' by Little Claus. All based on a tale by Hans Christian Andersen.
