Alexander Scriabin (1872-1915)
-Prométhée: Le Poème du Feu opus 60
Chicago Symphony Orchestra
Conductor: Pierre Boulez
Piano: Anatol Ugorski

Scriabin finished his last symphony "Prométhée: Le Poème du Feu" in 1910 in Brussels. The work was written for grand orchestra with piano solo and choir (towards the end). The work is just like his "Le Poème d'Extase" written in one movement. Scriabin invented as an idea a light keyboard; different chords played on the piano are producing different colors as light effects (see the nice choreography with light effects here on YT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GXgh3fbftY )

  • Amazing!!!

Ps.the Url that you put under other info is incorrect!

  • I am glad you liked it!

The URL is solved, the problem was that it added the brackets (...) to the URL - there must be a space in between.

You can try now, it should work...
