Matchbox City

My sculpture 1 class project was to make a miniature of something. I had first thought to do a room in a matchbox but after playing with it for a while I decided to do a city and wave (I am aware of how serious this subject is due to the recent damage in Japan and no insult is intended); I was interested in the challenge involved in the construction. I envision this as one of many "weather surprises". Many of the interior pieces are copper as otherwise it is too fragile to work more than a few times. Imagine the sound "woosh" as the wave comes, I wanted to include a recorded sound device but ran out of time.
