Clean guitar, then blue box full volume, blend 12 o clock. then blend full left. then blend 3 o clock. finally blend full right.

then effect followed by Big Muff in signal path.

Next followed by Overdrive in signal path.

Next preceded by overdrive in signal path - helps to sustain notes without the gate kicking in prematurely.

Finally some delay noodling.

Set up as follows:

guitar - fender 97 american strat with stock pups. Using neck pickup only.

amp - marshall dsl 401 clean channel.

mic - shure sm57 on axis.

I have seen a lot of people saying that this effect lacks volume. I have found this to be the case with humbucker pickups only, with single coils it is excellent.

no, that is part of the sound. buy a boss oc2 or a micro pog for that.
