We live in 2 houses, one mobile home and 2 RV trailers. We're 10 miles from downtown and walking distance to a large park with hiking trails. There is also a beautiful new studio (built almost entirely with recycled materials) available for meetings, classes, yoga, meditation, massage, etc. AVAILABLE LIVING SPACES: #1 and #2: Two bedrooms in the currently-vacant mobile home. $350/month for each room #3: A 24-foot RV trailer, which has been beautifully remodeled. $350/month #4: A large beautiful room in the main house, furnished, with a private entrance. You'd be sharing the house with 3 other people. $550/month. ABOUT US: We're 5 adults, and 3 kids. Generally health-oriented, active, creative and playful. We like to be outside and get our hands dirty. We're trying to live simply and more sustainably. Looking for like-minded folks. ABOUT YOU: You want to live simply, share resources, and be good neighbors with the rest of us. We're particularly looking for an experienced gardener who would love to get out and work in the dirt and collaborate on gardening projects. We'd also be delighted to find someone interested in natural building projects, working with and learning from our resident natural building guru. WE LIKE TO: Compost, recycle, walk, garden, harvest cultivated and wild plants, sit around the firepit, play music, prepare meals together, have potlucks, play games, pull weeds, bicycle, use public transportation, carpool, read, watch movies,. WE CULTIVATE: Vegetables, herbs, fruit trees, flowers, ducks (for their eggs), compost, our relationships There are always gardening and building projects going on, and plenty of opportunities to learn about all kinds of stuff. We ask everyone to contribute 4 hours a week to the community- whether it's gardening, cooking, landscaping, recycling, building, yard cleanup, mowing, weeding, or helping an individual on some project.
