http://www.ppgfun.com/ Powered Paragliding at its best. I just received a new Vittorazi Moster 185 paramotor, AKA: Flat Top NINJA. This is a video of me assembling the paramotor and starting it.

  • First off please don't misunderstand me i am not a para glider pilot but i am highly interested in it and am planning to take lessons soon, so anything i say is really just me trying to get as much information as possible before spending the money on a good system. That being said i really got to ask...Velcro? Is that unit actually held together with Velcro? Maybe Velcro is a lot stronger then i thought it was but is there an option for some good old nuts and bolts with that?

  • @ChicagoBob58 Velcro seems to be the industry standard. There is a lot of vibration that occurs with any PPG unit and if you simply use "some good old nuts and bolts" they will fail and or wear through the frame. Velcro is extremely strong... think of it as over a million points of fastening rather than one with "some good old nuts and bolts". Also, the Velcro isn't there to hold you in the air, it only holds the cage of the unit together. Thanks for your comment.
