OMG I used this system to move from the chicago area to NV and it was under 4 grand a couple years ago, now that I need to go back....ugghhh are they kidding? When it gets this high its almost cheaper to buy new things when you get there (if i had that option) :"(

Moving pods are indeed great and have made our recent moves way easier. There are other moving pods companies to consider though, such as Door to Door. doortodoor(dot)com.

PODS is more expensive than a rental truck but also much easier and low stress. No need to drive a truck or worry about late fees, gas costs, truck breakdowns, etc. You take your time to load/pack and unload/unpack without worrying about truck late fees. You load at ground level, not with a ramp. They've also added a 7' container for moving.
