so this did not make your hair straight? i am not looking for something to straighten it, i just want a loser curl pattern. i have 4a 3c hair. and you used the regular one not the dark one right????

@luhvieluhv23 I can't say it's going to change your curl pattern. I feel it just offered my hair extra protection while straightening. I'm not sure what you mean by the dark one. The box was brown.

@TASHIAWATKINS The shrinkage is amazing. Sometimes I think my hair isn't growing but I have to remember that shrinkage is a factor!

I purchased the aveda dry remedy today. I used it with other products so i can't really say if it did anything in of itself. With my next wash I'll use it alone...

I do have thick 4b/4c hair as well and I hear ya. I stopped buying the sap moss line because of cost also.

Where do you get your moroccan hair oil from? thanks

@Sosesm They say it was supposed to replace the Sap Moss which was amazing back in the day! But the dry remedy is soso. I bought my Moroccan oil at Wilshire Beauty in Los Angeles. But there are vendors that sell it online including amazon. I just bought pure argan oil and it makes my hair soft.

you know they have one called bOLD for i dark hair with a pic of a black woman on the front that one works better for me. i wear my hair short and also do not straighten it...although I flat iron the top occasionally for that jeanelle monet look. I am havinga hard time combining the product with other deep conditioners...do you still use that olive conditioner while the keratin is in?

@Sosesm I got it from Wilshire Beauty in Los Angeles. But, there are websites that sell the brand online. I'm looking for the pure argan oil. But, the moroccan oil intensive mask is the bomb. Sometimes I leave a little bit in my hair. I'm going to be purchasing pH strips soon to test the pH of my products to see which ones are at the ideal pH for hair.
