Thank you for helping me prove to my hubby that yes, we can grill corn. :)

HAHAHA you should have a contest to see who gets to be your best friend ;)
Anyway, I think the whole point of soaking is so that it doesn't catch on fire. Just like you have to soak skewers for the same reason. I would think the taste would be better unsoaked...because it gives the natural juices the chance to steam the corn, as apposed to the water. idk tho, I don't grill it (yet).

@bm5447 we usually don't think any through, that's the beauty of GardenFork, its not a TV food show.

I like most of your videos but you obviously didn't think this one through before taping!

Raw corn can be pretty amazing. We bought some in Olathe, CO last year. They said to try it raw, and we were shocked. It was like candy. Supposedly Olathe corn is special, though. The stuff we buy at WF can be pretty starchy.

@acrossthedesert there are some specialty corn varieties that i have heard about that are super sweet, i think you can buy them online too.

i have never grilled corn before. was wondering have you ever tried deep fried corn on the cob? it is very good. & don't forget the s&p.& butter. also, i like to stir in a tbsp. of mayo into my serving of whole kernal corn on my plate. it is really good..& don't forget a lil' s&p.

I prefer unsoaked the best.
I believe this is how they do it at the fairs, etc...
Thanks!

@badboyorganics its looking like unsoaked is the method of choice. i grilled some with no husk and the kernels were dried out.
