Hello, I did my audition and it went really well. Everyone liked it. Thank you so much for you help. We are doing the Matchmaker which is the play version of Hello Dolly and I got Miss Flora Van Huysen. So thank you sooo much for your advise on the monolouge!

I performed this monologue last year for an audition and we have to do monologues again this year for another class so I'm going to use this one again because I liked it so much. The first time I did it, I used your video to show me how to do it, and I came back to watch it again to refresh my memory. So THANK YOU! :]

"The squeaky wheel gets the grease" means the one who keeps talking gets shut up, basically. So Sally is saying she was "the squeaky wheel" I would keep it in, people liked it.
Thanks and hope your monologue goes well!

Haha, just really think about what a little girl would do to convince her teacher. Use different inflections when you say each plea: Kids will do anything they can to convince you they are right...even that means using conflicting angles and methods :-p. BREAK A LEG AND HAVE FUN!
