@monte2115 I agree. I have been trying to "get" JD but so far have failed. I watched the Doc and it was great. I agree 100% that had Ian lived and they went on the US tour they would have been HUGE.

@cranie4 Joy Division was very influential as well, and if they had been able to tour the US they would have been huge as well

I always felt bad for the Stone Roses. Imagine being a mid-80s alt band from Manchester, and not being The Smiths. Poor bastards.
