DKC3 - Floodlit Fish (No Light) Speedrun

Hey, everybody. This is my first speedrun! Aren't you excited? I know I am. I guess this is the time to start making excuses, huh? Well, for starters, I hate the control in the aquatic levels, so I am pleased with how well this run turned out. I got extremely lucky near the end of the level because I didn't get hit, but I did suffer two hits during the first half of the level. Fortunately for me, both of those hits may have saved me time in the long run.

To my friend, ghonszah, as I mentioned previously, this run is dedicated to you. You and Nx encouraged me to make videos and when I finally learned how, you brought up the prospect of retiring from making videos all together. I wasn't too happy about that. I was really hoping we all could do this thing together!

With that being said, everyone has times in their lives where they are in the dark, but don't forget that even if you can't see us, we are right there with you. If you try hard enough, you'll find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Oh yeah. It's way too easy to get lost in this level, especially around the [N]. To be honest, I still don't really know it all that well. :P

like you, i extremelly HATE the aquatic levels, perhasp is the fact that you cant move as you would like to!!!

I remember that when I first played this level, I got lost around the N!! :P I went to where that light fish was and then I went to the left and noticed I was returning to where I've already been! XD Then I went down the fish, found a way through the Lurchins and got out! :D

Actually. I take that back. I remember playing Donkey Kong Country 3 when I bought a used SNES. I got stuck in the lost world levels. It wouldn't let me go to the next level for some reason, so I returned it.

That must've been somewhere in the early 2000s, but I definitely never practiced any kind of style running or speed running like I have now.

Neither I. I even never played DKC3 on SNES. I only did it in emulator, until I lost my files. I'm actually a beginner on DKC3.

Believe me, I haven't played Donkey Kong Country 3 for the SNES since the late 1990s. I've only had an emulator for a few days. I didn't even have any idea how to set up my joypad! Ask NxCy if you don't believe. I am a beginner. :P
