I'm not sure. I think it's different on the iPhone.

youtube videos for the iphone are actually in a different format, which is why not all videos are available for viewing on the iphone, obviously these videos were removed from youtube and just weren't removed from the iphone youtube mobile, yet. see the iphone doesn't support flash (unless you're jailbroken and have imobilecinema), so the youtube videos you search for on the iphone are actually in a mp4 format.
