  • My mother died from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) two years ago. Please support your local ALS chapter by making a donation or participating in the Walk to D'feet ALS . If it were not for this foundation I don't know what we would have done. To this day, there is no treatment for ALS. Research is ongoing. The ALS Foundation educated us in how to care for our mother and also aided us with wheelchairs and many other pieces of equipment needed to care for a patient with Lou Gehrig's Disease.

  • Cool where is that

  • @Toeree92 hope all is well and best wishes to your mother and yourself

  • one of? the best, and a man of great Integrity.

  • Best ball player ever as far as I'm concerned. I read a book about him and it projected what his stats would be if he didn't have to retire at 35. He was ahead of Babe and Hank in RBI's, walks and hits when both of them were 35. He also started at age 22 while both of them started at 20 so you figure they got a jump on him there. He would of had close to 700 HRs.

  • rip

  • RIP Lou

  • @ljames1963 im sorry

  • Excellent and gracefully done. Lou was the man. One of the top 3 players in history

    along with Mays and Ruth.
