  • Every time I meditate I tend to fall a sleep.

  • the lama usually advises that shorter more focused sessions are better than long sleepy ones.

  • The thing I like mostly about Lama Ole is that he still looks and behaves as a person born in Europa although converted to a traditionel eastern religion. Combining the best of both world and not just blindly following one.

    Peace upon him.

  • Having a teacher can be too personal for some people - but devotion should not be confused with emotional attachment. That's why Buddha gave different methods, keying on the tendencies and capacities of individuals.

Our style is totally clean - we mainly practice Ngondro and keep this Mahamudra view. We are meditation practice-oriented centers that do not dillute the teachings by mixing or picking out what we want. The historical precendent is there and we can be called Marpa-Kaygus.

  • @etphonehome2915 Killing flesh doesn't do a job. One must kill attachment to oneself and to Buddha. One should use his or her own eyes, ears, hands and legs. Enjoy evening daybreake. Spring blossoms. Summer showers. Autumn forest mushrooms. Winter skating and skiing. A good mug of hot milk with butter & honey is always welcome during long winter evenings, don't you think so?!

  • @etphonehome2915 You are Buddha!

  • @GachaTaru2011

No, he's not a god. He's a philosopher who has undergone a number of different interpretations throughout the continent of Asia. The Ch'an tradition in China is perhaps the closest example of a group that actually deified the Buddha, but even then, any Ch'an Buddhist would tell you that he is simply a man and nothing of divine origin.

Unfortunately, a red-lettered version of Sanskrit only gives us 2 pages of quotes from the actual Buddha. Everything else came much later.

  • Thank You Mr Nydahl for this video. Great teaching!. I wish you the best....... !!!!!

  • @etphonehome2915 its a god from asia

  • Who is Buddha?

  • @etphonehome2915 man ...dont you think that would be kinda stupid? :

  • kill yourself and Buddha

  • @etphonehome2915 I am sorry but there is not enough understanding of Ole's message in what you are writting. There is no buddhism better than the other and Lama has always underlined that. If Zen is better for you, that's fine. I hope it will bring happiness to your life. Other people might achieve the same by following the Diamond Way. The second thing is that you can by polos like that in second hand shops, not only designers. I would bet money that it was bought by Hanna ;) stay blessed :)

  • You do whatever you want but a master that drives a porsche or wears hugo boss all the time is just not the spirit of buddhism, no matter how unattached that person is. It just gives the wrong impression.. if you're going to talk the talk, you've got to walk the walk. But I guess he has to walk all over town to find the right shop and t-shirt - lacoste lol. Unless there is only lacoste shops where he does his shopping. You are right its hard, but it is a start to find another shirt.
