What do you use to record this its really good quality!

i use a capture device called EyeTV. it's a mac only capture device through.

How far back in macs will it work for 10.3.9?

to be honest i'm not quite sure on that. i started using eyetv 3 software, not versions before it.

but looking it up it seems that you can only run EyeTV software 1.8 on your mac. if you update to either leopard or find a copy of tiger you would be able to use eyetv 3 software.

i can pm you a page i found on Elgato, the makers of EyeTV and on eyetv 1.8 and which eyetv devices work with it.
