Of course wolves work together. They also fight for superiority within their group and may even have territorial disputes. Humans work together to build bombs and invade foreign nations and conduct shock and awe campaigns of holy imperial terror inquisitions- and even work together to capture wolves and fish and sheep and slaves.

5:28 :"This is the only species that believes that violent competition is the optimum way to get ahead." Um, Gregg, I don't know that any other species believes anything because beliefs (as I understand the term) require language.

Wolves don't "violently compete" with bacteria or elk. Wolves probably operate more like hurricanes and just tear up whatever they tear up. Maybe Gregg should watch a video of an asteroid impact and a raindrop impact and then consider that they are quite similar.

Fair enough, science certainly does describe relationships, generally using mathematics as a precise language, more logical than most human languages.
