BMW R1200GS - Test Ride

Another trip around the surrounding area.

This is my second test ride on the 1200.
This ride confirmed that the Boxer engine is definitely not for me.

It's not the revs. In comparison to the 800, It's vibey. I prefer the 800. Each to their own!

It's how I imagine being sat in a Lancaster bomber to be. Very buzzy. I might try one again in future but I just fell in love with the 800. I felt it had a lot more character. ;)

It's not easy, in my opinion. I found it quite top heavy. More so on my second test ride than my first. It could have been due to the bike having a full tank of fuel. I much preferred the 800, well I bought one, says it all!
