It's OPEC and Wall Street profiting from high gas prices Big Man.
Not so much the oil companies. Yes, they make about 4 to 10 Billion per quarter, or about 10 to 50 Billion per year- about the same as they have been making for the past 5 years or so. Look at prices during those years, fluctuated a lot. OPEC and traders make out by manipulating the prices up and down. OPEC has more power than the oil companies by FAR.

you do realize that 'gas' prices are the same, right? No you don't.
The delta's in Canada and Europe are all TAX from those governments.
NOT the oil companies. Taxes for social programs and infrastructure.
Our taxes on gas here avg about 0.50. While taxes in Ca & EU are several dollars.
You really should do your research before saying the wrong thing.
