NISWA - Be careful of who you are marrying.

According to the founder of NISWA a non profit organization based out of Los Angeles California, says that domestic violence is not limited to villages or towns, but in fact, women in big cities are also suffering from this torture. Many girls from Pakistan are approached by Pakistani families living in the US for marriage of their daughters or sons. NISWA wants to inform the families in Pakistan that whenever a man or his family approaches a family in Pakistan for their daughters marriage, the first thing they should do is do a back check on the family and the most important thing to do is not to rush in decision making, because one wrong move can destroy an innocent girls life forever. Imran Siddiqui reports from Los Angeles California.

  • Why was she leaving the house? he hit her cuz she was leaving the house without his permission. It is her fault. Might is right, in a world where evolution dictates our morality.

  • islam mein jehez nhi hai

balochistan mein jehez ka koi system nhi hai

  • @kotbloch Yes it is disgraceful.

  • @pashtana12 His father teaches him that. Why the heck would a women tell her son to beat another women. Think about it.

  • I really feel sorry, for all who want to marry, with families who are settled abroad, please do you research, and never, never send you daughter to a foreign land, till you really know the families, very well.

But cant help, all the parents think better for their daughters, as its the martial concern for all the parents to secure their daughter, but sometimes its all in vain. God help all those who at present are under this - God bless them.

  • bro?im not a man..

  • this is so sad that in 2009 this still happens...inshallah i hope things get better for these women..

  • this was happened in USA, where one can be rescued after call, can u imagine the situation in Pakistan, where a girl is murdered in night with the hands of father or brother and same father after attending fajir prayer is asking for others to attend funeral ceremony, of his girl who died with fever. can u imagine the mental condition of that rape victim who goes to police station to get justice and again raped by the police inspector in police custody.
