Well, I say the world would be a much better place throughout all western history even without the aqueducts and artifacts of the Roman civilization had there NEVER been any kind of slavery or violent conquests of any type.... part of what you appear to overlook is that Roman slavery was a model and rationale for later western nations' empires, imperialism and vile, evil, obscene CHATTELl slave practices all throughout the americas for hundreds of years
