I have come to realize that we are bathed in all kinds of energy. Some good and some not so good.

How much energy are you getting? Volts and Amps.

I was just picking up crumbs of energy. The amperage would not even measure on my meters. The voltage was pretty good because of the high voltage coming off the ignition coil.  Later on I was able to capture the energy in a capacitor and light a string of small LED Christmas tree lights with it. There is a video of it.

That is a very loooonnng story. I suggest that you go to my channel and take a look or better yet go to the original inventor's (Imhotep) spot and see. It is just a modified compact flourscent light that is illuminated in a different way and recovers some of the energy that it uses.

What you're seeing is current induced by the current in the wires of your house; the electromagnetic energy is being converted to current because it has a return path to ground through your setup. Turn your 'antenna' into a long, straight wire, and put it near the wall again, then orient it different ways and see how it changes. It should display a higher reading when it's parallel to the wires in your house. This is why you saw the voltage drop to zero outside, where there are no wires.

Why didn't you just build your own AC to DC full wave bridge rectifire using diods.
