The VDO presentation shows preoperative shoulder stability examination in a patient with recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation. The shoulder joint is obviously unstable, it's easily dislocated by gentle anterior pushing.
it is likely that you will suffer from recurrent subluxation. Many people believe surgery is a 'quick fix' however evidence suggests that surgery is only suitable in highly active or sporty individuals. For the average individual it is worth getting it treated conservatively by a physiotherapist who will work on the stabiltiy around the shoulder and the shoulder blade before beginning to strengthen the joint once again. Its also very important post surgery
Not sure if you got any feed back or not, but i tore the shit out of my shoulder playing ball. almost needed a replacement. its rough for a while. i had my surgery almost a year now and i still have pain, such as now actually my shoulder blade in the back is killing me. Its never going to be 100% again, so im told. I have the 3 screws that you said you would need as well but keep working on it after the surgery. Don't let the scar tissue build up otherwise it will be a major pain in the ass
