Waaay too fast, imo. Should be about half that speed. It's full of emotion, not a race.

Maybe i'm just an amateur, but i'm practicing this song with my voice coach for an upcoming audition for the Wizard of Oz, and is it just me, or does everyone not really listen to the freakin words of the song when they sing it? It is SUCH a deep song yet people do it without emotion! A musical isn't a play, singing probably takes the #1 spot, but acting still MATTERS. Put a little emotion into it!!!! It's him wondering if he loves her for the right reasons....That's really DEEEEEEP.

okay, im the prince in this play at my school and after seeing this i have a few things to say. all in all, the guy was okay but his "lovers dream" part needed some amjor help! the chick was amazing the guy had some pitch issues as well as tone and the way he said beautuFUL nearly made me want me to stab myself but all in all it was okay. yeah i do think somone dis cuss actualy, shit i think it was. ah who cares.

Remember kids, this is a rehearsal, and not performance level. The tempo is a tad fast....got any performances of this? It's a great score. I like the harmonies better at the end of the Lesley Ann Warren version of this song. But these two are good!
