  • If I were to fly a Boeing 747 from Las Angelas to New York City and only travel 380ppm (or 0.038%) at which point during that flight would I have to stop the plane? Answer: The Boeing 747 would would have to stop half way down the runway, that is 0.038% of the journey between Los Angelas and New York City.

  • Very true, CO2 is potentially a fertilizer... Not only that, but it is also a potential energy source (Emissions > CO2 > "Biofuel" (via CCS) ... That I think is what is planned ... first we pay for "storage" through our energy bills and then we pay for the "recycling" when oil finally runs out. Thanks for posting. I've posted a video reponse on this very topic. Runi.

  • My concern is that, years after implemening all these stupid regulations, taxes, "cap and trade" or whatever, the climate will continue to change. Rather than admit they were wrong, these academics, bureaucrats, and opportunists will continue to blame man's CO2 and will try to implement even harsher measures. At what point do we say "enough"? I say we're there now.

  • You are correct as well. We should have them PROVE it does effect climate to congress and senate before we ever start with any cap and trade BS

  • Levin and Sussman are correct, CO2 is NOT pollution. The Earth's temp. has been falling since 1998 while CO2 has continued to rise, so of course CO2 can't be the cause of any "global warming". Man's CO2 is a very small part of a gas which is in turn a very small part of the greenhouse effect. There is indeed a scientific consensus: man's emissions are not significant and climate has varied by a much wider margin than we've ever seen, with NO CO2 from us.
