  • The Prophet said, "Isn't the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?" The women said, "Yes." He said, "This is because of the deficiency of a woman's mind."

    (Bukhari 3, 48, 826)

  • Muhammad enslaved women, and raped his female slaves.

    Jesus did no such thing.

  • @ItsOutLaws

"Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them." (Quran 4:34)

  • @RealityCheckHero do you even know how to speak Arabic to read Quran??, and beating your wife doesn't have to do anything with quran, it's a man problem not a religion, a man thinking, didn't you people said that men like Gods??, and i don't want to talk about how many girls are raped in america once a year, well does the bible says that??, no?, then stop accusing quran.

  • @MThompson237 they are equal spiritualy, but not phisiqly i.e the man must work, the woman work if she wants...and she is not obligate to give that money to the house, but the man it is... in her period the woman it is free from praying or fasting, because she is weeker then, the man must pray and fast...but in seeking knolege they are equal, the both have right of education, both can make dawa, be leader of prayers, go to mosques etc...

Well, as a WASP older male I can only speak from experience. I lived for over 2 years in the Palestinian city of Nablus in the Israeli-occupied territories, and now I live in a town in Morocco, surrounded by Muslims. In both cases I witnessed men treating their wives with respect and love. Every day I see men and women walking together talking, smiling, and sometimes even holding hands. I must say that I am not aware of women being beaten on a regular basis.

  • @TheDavidDaoud

There's a big difference between killing women because you're a criminal, and beating your wife because the Koran tells you to do it. In the first case, no religious book is responsible for the violence. In the second case, the Koran IS responsible for violence. The Koran explicitly PROMOTES male supremacism and wife beating.

  • @TheDavidDaoud in this universe, it's certainly not the one all out religious books on this planet are written about.

  • @TheDavidDaoud And your religious lifestyle is based on misinformation. Believe me, I am no Fox News watcher. To consider yourself an intelligent person AND believe in any religion, especially Islam, is ludicrous. Your god promises you virgins, entrance into heaven, or listens to your prayers, right? Your prayers go unanswered. There is no heaven or hell. There is no God, at least the one that you're thinking of. I won't say I know everything, but if there was some sort of great architect

  • @RealityCheckHero

Men in North America KILL their wives and girlfriends in domestic disputes on a regular basis, many of whom no doubt profess to be Christians. I think you need a RealityCheck, sir, and you are no Hero.
