no frankie, no "sun aint gonna shine"...besides i find his version-the original-to be much more soulful than the walker brothers who basically copied it not for note..the same goes for frankie & the seasons version of "silence is golden" (flip side of rag doll)..how do you improve upon perfection...next thing you'll be telling me you prefer madcon's version of beggin' to the 4seasons...gimme a break!!

When I first heard the Walker Brothers' version of this I thought "Man, Jay Black could kill this song". I had no idea they did a cover of this. Awesome.
-
Jay and the Americans... my favorite group... forever
-
This was a Frankie Valli song a year before "Can't Take My Eyes off You"
-
This is very a interesting version of the song... Not crazy about that 16-note picking in the background... but, hey.
-
Jay's good on this one, but no one touches Scott Walker plus a better arrangement .
-
The Walker Brothers did it best. I also like the cover by Air Supply. Jay Black had plenty of good songs of his own. This is okay.

@dunepaul9999 There was only one Steve Reeves. He never took steroids either. His title as Mr. Universe came naturally. Could he act? Hell no. All he had to do was look good and he did that well.I loved him in all the gladiator/hercules movies. He was a beautiful man.

The Sun Ain't gonna shine anymore without Love...Baby...BABY!

A pretty good tune, JaTAs covered alot of songs n did justice to them all.
the actor might be Brad Harris. that's who he looks like to me. i think he was an actor/director back in the '60s.

Okay you guys, here are the facts. Movie is "Fury Of Achilles" made in 1962. Actor is Gordon Mitchell and some bio to follow:Gordon Mitchell was one of those perfectly developed bodybuildersMitchell took a fancy to show biz and appeared as posing beefcake in such films as The Ten Commandments (1956) and Li'l Abner (1959), which, of course, did little to advance hisacting career. In 1961, after Reeves' Le fatiche di Ercole (1958) (US title: "Hercules") proved a hit and revived the "muscleman"
