Wii have a problem -- The Cheap Strap

First off, this really did happen, the video is a comedy because we love making comedies, however the main story that Russell reports did happen.

Anyways, we were playing Wii Sports Baseball and I make sure that no one does anything too crazy and to always put the strap on. For all of my two weeks having the Wii, there hasn't been one time that it slipped out of anyone's hand. Until Last Night, December 2nd. The one time it slipped out of someone's hand, and the one time the strap was in need, it freakin' broke.

The controller went flying into the wall (Thank God it didn't hit the TV), and the controller is now in bad shape. The battery thing doesn't close anymore, there is a crack on the top sensor part, and the speaker for the controller is screwing up. Wii do have a problem: The Cheap Strap.

Nintendo needs to recall these things, because it is sad if it breaks on the first time. Wii Good, Strap Bad! The strap makes us feel like nothing will happen, so in your mind you are less careful, however, the strap is basically worthless.

Anyways, this video was filmed minutes after it happened but for fun we acted like goofs. But this is sort of how it went down.

How stupid are people to actually "accidently" let go of the controller, just wondering. I've had my WII for 2 years, have had absolutely no issues with the controller whatsoever. I mean, if people are that stupid that the remote would slip out of your hands and crash into the T.V., then they need to keep from reproducing.

@kokorosenshi It was a problem with the first Wii releases from Nov-Dec 2006.  Nintendo recalled the scraps and made stronger ones. Since they did that, you know for a fact that there was a problem. But yeah since then, I haven't heard of any stories like that, only the people that play it without the scrap.

@mbwchampion no, what im trying to say it, its not that hard to keep a hold of the controller, you just have to grip it and occasionally let go of a few buttons, but eh, i've heard of stupider things
