@atsuo2 You are so right. So many people bash Osteen and say negative things about him, yet they've never even listened to a sermon. He is a wonderful man. Even if you aren't a religious person you have to appreciate that he loves everyone, and preaches love and tolerance, and kindness etc. What's not to like about that? They are just haters for the sake of hating someone that believes in God.

I just can't believe people would respect Joel Osteen more than the thousands of missionaries who go to third world countries every year to help the less fortunate out and spread the gospel.
If Joel Osteen is not about making profit, why is it that every time his sermon is on TV, he'll ask us to buy his book or "donate" to his foundation?

Joel Osteen is an awesome Witness for Christ our Lord. That's the message and that's all there is to it! Too many people are too judgmental....and that's NOT OUR JOB! WE ARE TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER....that's all OUR LOVING FATHER HAS EVER ASKED OF US!!! It's really not that hard! PRAISE GOD's HOLY NAME!!!!!!

Mr. Feel Good Preacher who will not say anything that may upset someone and keep them from giving. He also said in an interview that Jesus Christ is not the only way to Heaven yet the scripture says it is the only way. Mr. Feel Good Preacher took over his fathers church instead of making his own way.

all of you down talkers to joel osteen are ignorant and know nothing of him! he is a great man of God that saved more people than you know! i know him personally and he is a wonderful man spreading the gospel. and i dont know a single person that preaches on a donkey, jesus did because a donkey was the only transportation besides foot back then! if it was current times jesus wouldnt have ridden on a donkey! thats just foolish.

Jesus riding the donkey was symbolic in that we ride the donkey and the donkey does not ride us. In other words our problems,we have the power to overcome.
