To see this entire program visit https://www.createspace.com/204551 This first aired as a PBS television special. The film has extraordinary interviews with pilots and tank commanders who knew Hitler - who talked with him -- who watched his decisions. These haunting interviews and information uncovered presents a view of what the German nation (Empire) might have achieved had Hitler been less erratic in his decisions.

Nazis never raped any girl ? Are you kidding me ?

The Nazis raped all kind of women, everyone raped

its war, its not alright. But when you have men that have been fighting

for years without having any sex, theres going to be rape.

  • russians are fucking insane

  • nazi age was a nightmare but Germans never raped any girl . Russians done it so much when they won

  • @keysphilip The French in 1940 when the Germans invaded France were on the whole a stronger force, the main reason they were defeated was because of poor deployment and tactics which allowed them to be surrounded and destroyed relatively easily.

  • @nunneley60 What's your point? The radio was a 'new' invention in those days

  • The French did not even have radios in their tanks!!

  • @VictorLepanto I guess that the French Resistance was pretty effective, through its own weapons as much as those supplied to it. As I read, the FR was made up of large numbers, albeit they were careful how many were utilised in action. Brave guys (& girls), u didn't want to be captured alive by the SS in France. It must have been terrible to be in an underground movement, knowing the consequences of capture. Heroes to a man/woman.

  • @keysphilip: In many ways, the French military was superior to the German. Certainly in terms of equipment. My understaning is that the general commanding French forces was suffering from some aspects of dimentia from syphilis. Then we can talk about the politics. The French left has long taken credit for being the leading lights of ther resistance. Actually, the communist resisted the war then b/c of Stalin's orders. The indepdent left wasn't much better.

  • @VictorLepanto But was France capable in 1939 of resisting such a mass of troops & armour? I feel that the main 'failure' of the Allies came in the 1936-39 period, as they just looked-on. almost impotent, as Germany became a Superpower.

If WW2 showed anything, it perhaps underlined the importance of having the right allies. Hitler's 'axis' was pretty poor in comparison to the German forces.Albeit I guess the Germans didnt show their allies much respect anyway, even before the collapse started.

  • @keysphilip: If France had effective leadership at the moment it was needed, they wouldn't have been overrun. Hitler woud have found himself in the same predicament was 1914 & the general would have moved to blow him up in a more timely fashion. This speculation of course, but I think it sound.
