ALL of these people are Western, or at the very least look a lot like it. If you can't tell, switch to full view.
All these Western cosplays are very well done, no doubt about it. Just give up. Westerners will never stop cosplaying. And good Western cosplays DO exist. So please, just shut up already with all your comments about our so-called "inability" to cosplay properly.
Also, a side note - some of these people I know personally, and some I met in person, since a number of these photos were taken at Anime Matsuri 2011.

Proudasian is a racist. I want to see whites and blacks cosplay as well. Good cosplay can be attempted by ANY race.

@ubiquitousfacts Exactly! He also seems to have a very narrow definition of cosplay. I never see his videos contain male cosplay, crossplaying (females cosplaying males or vice versa), and he almost always depicts "Westerners" as whites, and on rare occasions as blacks. He also forgets that Indians are also asian.

And he thinks all cosplay is supposed to be "cute".

Cosplay doesn't have to be "cute", especially if the character being cosplayed is not cutesy.

I thought this was a good vid. I ran across some cosplay vids and thought they looked fun. I knew a lot of kids growin up that liked to dress up as their fave characters too. I don't cosplay but I can understand the obsession. It's fun. I came across some of proudasians videos and I was horrified. His message is more racist than anything and constantly compares professional japanese look alikes with fun loving young people from the rest of the world. Keep having fun and forget ppl like that.
