  • I'm guessing this is a monophonic organ since there's only 1 555 Timer IC. I wanna make one that's polyphonic. I would need 7 556 Dual Timer IC's to cover 2 octave and for it to me polyphonic. right?

  • @cfiore88 no. if you want polyphonic, you need many 555 timer circuit as number as button count.

  • @yeosujjang Are you saying one 555 for each button?

  • @MintEEV This can only makes the staccato. so, if you want polyphonic, it need 555 timer circuit each button.

If you push two button simultaneously, it makes higher button's tone.

  • nice job dude! sounds awesome.

  • La primera octava de abajo hacia arriba esta desafinada ;)

  • Nice idea !!!!!!!

  • @MintEEV You could do it so that there would be as many 555 chips as you want simultaneous notes. That is the way most polyphonic analog synths work, synth circuitry is repeated for every voice. This would need some voice assing logic which will mean quite a bit of extra work compared to simple 555 oscillator circuit, if implemented with like 74-series logic chips.

  • Dubstep?

  • Good morning, friend. It can unlock a pic? I am from Brazil and I want to do a project of keyboard music.

  • What value has each resistance?
