Yet another treasure, wow!

Wow! Jose sure is talented at filming. I love the way he pans across to show the wide view of an area. Also, the logical way he will show an aircraft taxiing and then later show it off in the distance taking off. A pleasure to watch. What I noticed about those last two 707s is how the pilots in those days seemed to fly them in a "hotrod" fashion. In our politically correct times, such a freestyle approach would probably get them reprimanded...

We call it the "flying saucer" now, and I parked under it for a couple of hours yesterday waiting to operate our CRJ900 to ORD. The former Pan Am terminal at JFK... just like you see it on the show "PanAm" I look at the interior in a whole different way now too.

AMAZING!!! On behalf of all of us that dwell in the airline past..thank you!

Amazing how everything is spread out, meaning lots of elbow room for everyone involved back then. Everyone casual, laid back. Unlike our crowded, hyper, security manic airports of today.
Fantastic footage.
1:18 Is that a DC-8?
2:47 SAS DC-7C, right?

@MrFlightfan, it certainly does appear to be a Pan Am DC-8-33.
