@BigJettaGuy i cant even explain how slow these cars are lol i had one just like this one non-turbo and it could barely hit 60 on flat ground!

@BigJettaGuy well they all sound do-able. You could always get another engine there easy to put in on those cars. But all depends if the car is rust free or not far from it and if you love the car.

@Peterbilt379driver There's a few things coming up for it like another timing belt, wheel bearings and a wheel alignment, new tires and rims, a new parking brake, paint job and oiling, 2 of the windows don't open, the engine burns oil now and some other stuff.

@BigJettaGuy Around that, but what broke on it?

@Peterbilt379driver Agreed. My dad has a 1991 Jetta Turbo Diesel... there is just about 700,000 kilometers on the original engine and radiator, but then it came to the point where the little things that needed fixing cost more than the car. It was the best car he ever had though. It's still in the backyard! He got around 50MPG... is that around what you get? Maybe a bit better?
Wow, the car still looks great!!! And the rust is probably pretty bad up there in Quebec, isn't it?

@thetwopointslow Haha it is but these Jetta's even in rough shape hold there body pretty well. These Jetta's are about the only old car that hangs around allot longer then the others.

@Peterbilt379driver Ahhh, very nice! I wish I could see them more often, but I've only ever seen an old school Jetta like that maybe once down here in my neck of the woods in Kansas, lol. How many miles have you put on the old girl since this video? :)

@thetwopointslow well i put about 12,000km on it but the engine is in my 90' Jetta. This car was only for parts/ My other Jetta is the true gem.
