Trucker cuts amazing path to dock, Schiller Park, IL

Streets got a lot narrower with little space left to pile up the snow that fell during the Blizzard of 2011. I watched this truck driver do a fantastic job of manuvering his truck into a recessed loading dock in Schiller Park, IL. in spite of the snow and a utility pole!

I shot this during the Chicago blizzard of Jan. 2011 headed to Accent Metal Finishing which was one door on the other side of this truck. I'm an old gal and not a trucker. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Yes it is frustrating to wait for other people, especially if you blame them for your issues. Stuff happens. I was able to appreciate the hard work this driver put into his delivery and was so amazed that I wanted to share it with more folks. Thanks & take care.

Many of you don't understand how hard it is to get our trucks into the dock & over 90% of regular drivers (non truckers) could never do a portion of what we do..

not true I guarantee you I could sit at an all you can eat buffet and eat everything in sight until i'm 300 pounds over weight, then come on youtube and tell other people how hard it is to drive a truck.

I feel in love once with this trucker who was female.. she backed up to our company dock which you have to pull in to the building . The space is just the size for the van trailer. 1 foot left on each side. Thats it .tight! Well anyhow, she backed that truck into our dock on the 1st try! That lady kicked ass! All the male truckers have hell backing that trailer in . Love you female truckers! If I wasnt married.

@Themamax... It's not that hard getting a truck into a tight space, but it's more often much harder to get it back out. If you know your truck, you shouldn't have serious problems. But...most drivers nowadays are only truck pushers and not real drivers anymore. Don't tell me I'm stupid or whatever, been driving for 20 years! The last 14 for the same company. I KNOW what I'm talking about. Just to let you know beforehand.
