Gypsum is mixed on site on before it arrives to site. The mixture is totally dependant on the concrete guys! So they would be best to answer those questions. :)

Lite weight concrete can be pre delivered ready mixed or you can make on site with mixture of gypsum and sand with mix machine. Oh of course water! :)

Since the gypsum is not structural, any special structural considerations / deflection issues? what are you using over the gypsum pour to make it durable?
