  • "Boat anchor?" Yeah...big, heavy... and reassuring. I qualified expert during qualification with it and would not hesistate to carry it as a duty weapon in this day of high capacity tupperware. IMHO, one of the finest service revolvers ever made.

  • I definitly agree with you. This N frame is one of my favorites. I'll carry it overseas if I ever wind up there.  This one was onced carried by one of my dads deputies.

    what ever guy........I own a 28-2, a 629 & others....& several "glocks" oh I mean "tupperware"....I don't need to cut any type down to make another gun look better,LOL

  • It absolutely is one of the finest service revolvers ever made. I would not feel under gunned at all carrying one because I know for a fact I could put high velocity lead on target with it. It does that very well.
