  • Misperception isn't a real word. Misconception is though, I think that's what you were shooting for at 2:30 or so. :)

Anyway thanks for these videos, I'm going to watch a few more. I didn't even know Dell offered an iSCSI solution.

  • misperception (plural misperceptions) 1. an incorrect perception

  • Ah, so it's an actual word, just used improperly. Gotcha.

  • ;)

He was a little nervous when doing this shoot since this is all off the top of his head, no script, etc...

  • Good video.

Its always good that big companies like Dell asses other technologies and offer the choice back to the customer.

Its far to easy for storage networking companies to sell massive SAN's to corporations now, without actually highlighting other choices. Sure, it brings home the money but from the Customers point of view, they are left with, what is perhaps overkill for a smaller Storage Network.

  • It's cool, I would totally have stagefright also. Most of us IT dudes are more comfortable behind the doors of a datacenter than making an infomercial anyway. :) iSCSI is nice tech btw, Dell made a good move by purchasing Equallogic.

  • iSCSI is a grate idea it saves money and is just as good and thats grate
