i should have not attempted this. scared the whole time. help!!! EDIT: A better way to jailbreak your iphone is the software at APPLEUNLOCKERPRO . COM . It fixed my issues and got it successfully jailbroken.

Thank you the jailbreak I was using told me to turn off the iPod then hold the power button then both then the home button. We tried it like sixty times before we gave up now hopefully this time it works.
