  • ben remains to be one of the greatest song writers of all time. his hilarious yet genius lyrics mixed with the amazing piano and melody grabs my heart everytime. he is a huge inspiration to me and my brother who just dropped a new music video on our channel, if you gotta second check it out, you may like it, piano based rock, anyway, have a good evening. ben is the best.

  • @GryffinDarkBreed This is just the music video released in 2001 posted on the internet in 2009. The original music video was censored so that it could be aired on TV and the reposting of it on the internet contains the same censorship. Vevo didn't recensor it.

  • Haha, John Mccrea from Cake is standing behind Ben and Weird Al. Awesome.

  • You know I take a whole lot of flack...

Being male, middle class, and black.

  • the king of songs that are in movies

  • Nope. That actually didn't make sense. I meant to say "when I'm frustrated and life is too much", but I was getting dangerously close to going over the word count and deleted some things. And now it's all clear.

That comment wasn't irony, BTW. I was being completely serious.

  • heard this on duane hopwood today... glad i found this...

  • @TheAfroClub you sound just like Ben Folds! hahahahaha! how "ironic"

  • @gourmetcoffee: Yes, I know that. I have my own inner racist to fight--I believe that just about all first-world people with at least a TV do--and it comes out to play when I'm frustrated with suburbs. I know that white people are on the receiving end of racism (I've just done it; ironic, huh?), but songs like this, where a white, middle-class man talks about how hard his life is...even though it's satire, and even though he might have outside problems, it just frustrates me.

  • @enzobeatleyfloyd yo fan
